Where I work its also tough to find good employees - yikes, I've interviewed so many its crazy. Most want to work restricted hours, never on the weekends etc. - they think retail is simply chatting to customers - there is a lot of work that needs to get completed everyday and they simply want to stand there and take the people's money.

I did pick that up, but companies and people sometimes change while you are away as new managers put their stamp on things to try and improve things, though that is not always the case (or is that just local government
)Good thing is you know most of the set-up end folk there already, so will benefit everyone and who knows, in 4yrs you might be in management yourself!!
