Fallen out of love.
Cheating.
Violence.

Couldn´t happen to me because I sit down ... yes some men (i know others too) do it because they know that the p..ss. water is sputtering back out the toillet over the legs and so its not hygienic, but depends on the toilet too ... (public toilets offer a extra pissoir in most cases)

imo:
- when in love poeple chance their behavior to appeal to their partner. then when life goes on they fall back to their old habits.
- Love makes blind and we accept things we didn´t accept before and we wont accept when the first love is over...
- When parting the home many things changes
- Sometimes its too less time for living together before marriage
- Also habits chance with time
- Family style changes, some woman get bored when the kids left the nest, or they feel unimportant when they have no job or no social events to meet other people ...
