If someone isn't over his ex, he's not ready to commit to a new relationship. He should take time to get over it... I wouldn't wait though, some people never get over their ex

It's ridiculous. Take as long as you like to get over your ex, but stop whinging about it. There's nothing more tiresome than someone going on endlessly about their baggage!

I recently went out on a date with someone a few years my senior. She spent the whole evening talking about her problems from her divorce, and every little detail about what her ex did wrong.
That showed me one thing only. That this woman was not the least bit interested in my company, she was only looking for an audience for her complaining. Needless to say, she didn't hear from me again.

An "Ex" is just that. EX. As in PAST TENSE.
