Hmm depends on HOW he says it. If it's just a throwaway comment he's in trouble, if it's said in a way to make me believe he can't quite come up with one particular reason right now but hr's going to think about it, that's perfectly fine by me.

What you mean you dont know? I am not asking unless I know the answer seriously people do or have gotten to a place where their feelings dont connect to the why just yet but it will just give them time

wow!! i would be pretty pissed off, the normal answer to me would be, because you make me happy, i enjoy being with you, you have made my life so much better, etc.....to say he didnt know would be like a kick in the teeth.
