personaly I see no reason to be vindictive, if it is usefull then use it, if it is not then dont, a grage sale is a good idea then the money is usefull. It has been a year, he is gone, dont let it eat you up. Anger, resentment, vindictiveness, all that only hurts you and the way you will relate to the next guy. yes he is an idiot and a jurk but that should have no reflexion on you, be better than that.
