Shooting up prayers to Yashua / Jesus / God for your mom
I know your pain because right now i am at my moms taking care of her. I would much rather be out on the farm doing my thing but she needs my help. She helped me when i grew up so now is my time.
My mom was losing it fast until i got here. Caregivers are not allowed to push her to be her best. I got her eating 3 times a day again and walking and showering two times a week. They basically sat here watching her fade away. She wanted to die before i got back 10 days ago.
My mom lost one kidney two yrs ago and has stones in her remaining kidney. I have her on a special diet (lots of radishes and nothing that creates more stones / oxylates) and she is improving fast. She is 87 though and after getting lost while driving last october and then having a blockage from stones and ending up in the emergency ward, she won't be able to drive again, but she is walking again to the mailbox with me walking her there. I also was pleasently surprised how well she did when i took her to a grocery store. Yes she wanted to sit somewhere but she later thanked me for taking her.
The hard part for me is getting her back in shape means she will live for yrs but she may need my help constantly which means i may be stuck here for yrs, which will surely limit my life. The worst part of that is my need for hard work. There is none here in her retirement community.
