Not sure why this thread is called "transgression". Maybe transmigration would be more appropriate. I have had past life experiences. Very profound and clear experiences. I have no doubt that I've been here before. My most recent past life experience was during an event that I later read about in an old microfilm issue of the L.A. Times. I started studying Eastern philosophies and practicing Yoga after my initial past life experiences because I realized reincarnation is real. I was brought up in a Christian society but my family never pushed religion on me. When I was still a teenager I thought that many of the concepts that I now embrace, were nonsense. My Western upbringing and its "scientific" overtones limited my ability to grasp the veracity of such thinking. It took visionary experiences for me to see through the limitations of contemporary Western thinking. Can't say the experiences have helped me in the material world. It's more like knowing the truth is a cross that I bear.
