They're worried about Punxsutawney Phil? He's fat, sassy, spoiled, cranky and lives the high life. I suppose they'll be picketing the festivities on February 2nd. I live less than an hour from Punxsy; maybe I should check it out.
And I suppose the PETA folks have absolutely nothing in their lives made from animals? No leather shoes. No leather interiors in their fancy cars. No leather coats. And of course they're all vegans.

PETA is one of the most hypocritical and evil organizations there is.
They bomb animal shelters because they euthanize animals but what they dont tell you is that they euthanize up to 2000 animals in their own gas chamber.
They also teach people how to bomb places and it's just friggin evil; they don't care about animals; just their agenda.

OK, PETA is not the end all-be all of Animal rights. There are lots of people who care about animals who would never bomb anything. Plus, I don't even think the majority of PETA members are as extreme as the ones who make the news. In fact, the people they complain about could be manufacturing some of the news themselves and blaming PETA. If you care about animals, you can donate stuff to a shelter, go vegetarian, or stop wearing fur and leather. You don't have to bomb anything or make a public display of rescuing a spoiled and petted groundhog who probably lives better than some people do.

well said, we have no end of trouble with PETA in Australia.
Firstly during drought we have had to sadly look at controlled culling of kangaroos . to help them survive & not all die of thirst & starvation in some regions , but PETA have decided this is so cruel to help them, but they ont admit or show the end results of their biased crap.
Next our sheep graziers undertake on lambs what is called muelsing where they remove a layer on skin under the tail , this prevents in the long term the sheep being fly blown. PETA have protested, etc & used false information on this, threatened farmers, etc, but they have never ever seen a sheep die of sly strike, its the cruelest & most sickening death to an animal.
I am all for animal fprotection & abhore cruelty to animals but PETA's practices also affect good quality organisations
