Know, this is not a thread about religion, but about faith and humanity.

I recently visited some fantastic friends. Together we sang Amazing Grace...(Paws, quit hanging on to the G!!!)

Leo played a traditional key of the song, while beautiful Cat brought in the high lilt of her roots and singing the lead. I tried a lower octave accompaniment and Ursilla sang in tune with us all...

For the first time in so, so many years, I felt goosebumps crawl all over me, how much in harmony we were, at least to my ear...

So it is, quite amazing, this grace that allowed me to meet you all.

And most of all, to those I met, Urs, Cat, Leo, Bailey and Cherie....I wish you love.

Roy, I too wish so many people could be a part of that. I know that by virtue of your poetry, your artisitic mind and your talk of the banjo, that you too, are musical. It would have been a real treat to have you there....

Everyone....keep in the spirit...

No Cherie, you were not part of that tune, but you too, sang harmony with me in our own little unplugged session....

So now you are part of my band for life, are you?

It truly was beautiful...and Cat has the most awesome voice...never quite heard that song sung in the real "southern" tradition...

I will never sing that song again without hearing the voices of my friends echoing in my head...

And on a funny note:...On our way home from Cran's on Sunday...we passed the most beautiful picturesque churches...filled with Amish buggies all hitched to posts out front...Well didn't Cat and I feel so guilty for not being in church on a Sunday morning (we could just picture our mother's disapproving face...) we immediately started singing hymns....OMG Cat..I can't believe we really did that...rolling on the floor laughing

No I did not get to see the wagons but....

When Cat began singing (traditional version key of G as opposed to my basterdized version in E) with a high little reverb from the belly which struck me....and I could not help but feel wetness in my eyes, with newfound friends huddled around the hearth of your fireplace....and my voice had to one of the small mass...just like mass on a small Sunday morn....

If you looked at my arms, the goose bumps were there.

It amazes me that people can be drawn together from diverse backgrounds, from a Country away, yet share in the words of music.

Thank you all for being there, for the wonderful time spent together, it is my wish, my desire that I can become a traveler once again. There are so many I need to see again, and others that I wish to meet.

I wish you all love.......................

Speaking of wagons, did anyone ever watched that show, "Paint Your Wagons", where Lee Marvin said, "Yeah, grace was amazing wasn't she?"

Marbles? Who's counting marbles. The stupid saying of "man with the most toys wins" in life has NEVER applied to me....

Honesty will get you everywhere, n'est-ce-pas ma petite Cherie?

It was a moment in time. Sorry about G Major. I've always played it in that key. Roy would understand, I play banjo too. Open "G".

"Grace", yes. We were graced within those fleeting minutes. We will do it again. I promise. Paws

Tumpa/James. Although we only had about an hour of diluted interaction, your infectious exuberance and charisma reminded me of a much younger Paws. Don't ever change, just add to it. Paws
