Do they really set out to provoke their victimes to commit suicide,and if so why ?

What gave you the idea that that was what they did?

I studied this. I know what they do. I was just wondering if Elley was being facetious. It may well have been tongue-in-cheek knowing the things Elley sometimes says on here.

I took me several years to learn what I know, and would probably take as long again to tell you, but if you have something specific you want to know, then it is just as easy to google it, as to ask me.

Truth is that it would be all too easy to describe symptoms on here na dhave peopel think that someone they know has this illness, when in fact, that may not be the case at all.

The links I have given are fairly reputable, ecpecailly the Mayo Clinic one as far as diagnosis is concerned, and you would have to meet about 7-9 of the criteria, plus other things, to be assessed as being narcissistic.

One of my foster kids was narcissistic but not in an extreme way. In his case it happened as a result of not being socialised properly in his first few years. She vastly over-indulged him. He will never be cured, as such, but has found a level where he can live with others and they with him.

Every case is quite different, with different combinations of symptoms and causes.
