A sweetening alternative I use lately is totally natural...'stevia', from a plant, no calories, no chemicals...in small tablet form, and fine granulated also, bot in sachets and jars. As all good Italians know, a geat way to bring out the flavour of fruit, is to soak it in grog.... such as a fine brandy, rum, and my favourit is Bombay gin

Oh.. I'd be there like a shot if it were possible
I used to travel quite a lot, but my visit to Venice was a very short one... just one day.... I nipped there while I was visiting the country that was then called Czechoslovakia.... I was travelling and absolutely loved it, and added Venice to my list of places to revist, but it never happened....
Who knows, maybe if I find that special guy we will go to Venice and soak up the romance of that beautiful city....
