It's by a R&B group called the Question Marks with a strong gospel influence and a clear Doo Wop heritage. It is a haunting song which really strikes a deep nerve in me somewhere. The lead singer has an incredible voice. This song pre-dates the Rock & Roll era.

It's part of a collection from 49 to 54 Swing Time "Rare, Unreleased and Acappela Recordings". Did you enjoy it Conrad? It seems very timely what with whats going on in the middle east. I think anybody who lost a son or daughter in war would be moved to tears by this song.

My Brother in Law and I even made some recordings on that machine.Well,I suppose the Appliance probably ended up on a Fleamarket for all I know
