Wow what a sight. (77)
I lived in Alaska for a short period of time and I was lucky enough to see them. Truly amazing aren't they?

Yes they are very amazing indeed.It looke dlike they were moving closer together.They didn't last long but what a sight.

Even though it was extremely cold in Alaska I used to love to sit outside and watch them. Sometimes they would go on for 30 minutes to an hour up there.

They are awesome. When I was in Inuvik near the north pole you could hear them crackle as they danced in brilliant colors across the sky. It was a wonderland with 24 hours darkness and the powder white squeaking snow under your feet at -40 degrees. I loved it.
