I hardly ever wear underware and when I do itis usally something exotic.

Just depends on how you expect the day to go! ;)
Sometimes you're gonna be working, and you need some cotton wicking action to keep things fresh, and sometimes if you're not going to be getting heavy into work, commando-style casual mode allows you to keep one more layer off an area that tends to get naturally heated up anyway!
Oh, aye, no briefs and your favorite jeans with strategically placed holes ('vents' you might say!) on a breezy summer day- Just about as refreshing as a cold beer!

I wear underwear when i got out but mostly around the house i dont because im wearing athletic shorts (know what im talking about?) that i really dont wear them with around the house and sometimes maybe in public.At night I dont wear any underwear at all.
