I need to know if its possible for someone to look at your profile and not be listed in the 'Who's Viewed Me' list? REason I ask, someone sent me an email and said he looked at my profile and he's interested.. but I dont see him in that list.. is it possible? I'm still not 100% knowledgeable about this site so can someone please help me out here!

Yes that is easy. If you log out you can look anyone's profile without it showing up on your list. Most people do this.

You can hide it in your settings, so that ppl don't see that you're viewing them.. sinsiter creeps

well you can read and everything w/o being signed in...
also if you look at anyones profile that isnt your 'type' they wont show up
like if a 'woman seeking man' peeps another 'woman seeking man'

For sure its possible just as previously mentioned. In this case, does this person mention any details indicting that they have actually read your profile and what they like? Honestly, most times, these people are simply scammers and its a form letter that they send to everyone telling them that they are interested.
I just had another one tonight, wherein their style of writing was indicating that I had contacted them and that they were indeed interested in getting to know me better. I'd never seen them before. Of course, they wanted to correspond off site right away - I reported them as being suspicious and they were deleted by the CS staff. Obviously that means that they sent others the same letter because my one report alone doesn't get someone kicked off.
So read what they write .....the way they phrase things, etc. Trust your instincts .... if they seem to good to be true, normally that is the case.

People who send mass mail likely don’t view full profiles, so that may be a red flag of scam mail to be aware of and consider reporting. However it IS possible for a member to mail you directly without the view registering on your Who's Viewed List.
Here's how Who's Viewed works:
Views by other members register on your list only when someone views your full profile page - so if they see you on one of the match or search result pages it will NOT register that they viewed your profile - because they have seen you along with many other members on that page. There are several places on the site with links to mail or flower you directly. So if a person tells you that they have seen your profile and they are not showing up on your Who's Viewed Me List, they may have mailed you directly from one of those pages instead of viewing your full profile and mailed you from there.
It's not necessary to go to your full profile page in order to send you a mail or a flower... but it IS necessary to go there in order to read your full profile information. So it may mean the member chose to mail you based on your photo, age and location only and did not view your full profile.
If there aren’t any views registered on your Whos Viewed Me List, it doesn’t mean that no one has seen you or that the member who mailed you somehow did it magically without seeing your profile.
Also remember that members who have their Who's Viewed Me feature turned off, do not register when they view profiles.

Thank you ALL for your responses... I can see now that the person was a scammer because his email disappeared this morning from my inbox! And so did his profile! Hmmmm.. We really have to be careful!
