about the first days of being broke being the hardest.. I find the middle days and also the final days of being broke a nitemare too

Oh God don't remind me of that horrible black place. That terrible inner emptyness. The knowledge that your life will never be the same again. Waking up alone in the morning and realising that it's not a dream and trying to find the willingness and energy to face the day.

Very well-put!! Maybe that's why I find myself running from anything that could/might be a serious relationship anymore. That is such a horrible feeling & my track record is lousy.

And because of our histories and experiences of past failures and pain we can start to question the chances of succeeding again in the future and question the effort required versus the rewards to be gained. This is a very negative attitude of course and not one that should be dwelled on too much .....
But hopefully it will just happen one day .... PING...!! ... cupid's arrow will strike, you are suddenly in love and all that other crap you have just been worrying about goes away. And we all live happily ever after.....Tahraaa .....

Nothing is more painful than a broken heart. I think the key is to learn how to stop destroying yourself, at least for me, I go into self destruct mode and slowly become me again not the old me, but a new me because you are forever changed. Just trying not to become jaded in the process...
