wave yep I love reading stuff like that .. true life experiences, biogs etc.

At the moment I'm reading a book written by George Negus a few years back called "The World From Islam" which is a cross between a travelogue and a view of Muslim beliefs and lifestyles from a Western perspective.

The author travels through the Muslim heartland including Jordan, Lebanon etc and explores the dynamics of places such as Israel, the Gaza strip, the West Bank, Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

The book is written in an easy-to-understand and laidback fashion with some typical Aussie humour so it's an enjoyable read, while being educational at the same time.

Yessss - love reading - I recommend 'Eat Pray Love' Wonderful bio of one lady and her story following a horrible divorce, trying to heal or hide(?) in ways that suit her best - her choices were - eating (yes!!!), meditating (perhaps) and meeting a whole new love in a foreign land - great reading and really inspired me to go visit Italy.
I am now reading her next book - Committed - a book about her fear about marrying again.
