My Mother was a lady far beyond her time too ...... so much so that we had problems understanding her!

Give me some more info on your guy, and I shall comment.drinking... I very good with my intuition, and very cheap price, well worth it, guaranteed.

Asimov was not bad and for his time was quite original...but he is full of himself. His stories reek of ego...he insists at all times in telling you how intelligent he is. He writes like a mathematician stating a proof and in the end becomes boring.

There is nothing of his, as a result, that stands out as being truly brilliant.

Read Dune by Frank Herbert for a brilliant sci fi experience and almost anything by Arthur C Clarke.

Arthur C.Clark had great ideas but was not a great writer, but then he was a scientist first and foremost anyway. He invented satellites long before they became a reality. However,Clark never impressed me with his eloquence nor wit or conceit.grin
