woohoo128: unfortunately a serious question you trying to put Windows 7 no it?

Other possible answer depending on what model the memory is sometimes under the keyboard and either gets dislodged

Or covered in crap that could cause it two lag
otherwise other answers are always optional

Between us..An Arab 'friend' (using the term lightly)....asked me tonight to have a look as his laptop, OS is XP home, with a password (a few weeks ago I 'lost' all my bootable CD's)..and I can't be bothered tonight to download a password cracker..

So I slapped in my CD (I've an old XP cd from billy boy gates) and it (the laptop) keeps giving me the one finger salute and laughing back at mefrustrated ...

He said (get this) he bought the thing in Sarkoville today 2nd hand..but it's in english (I reckon it fell of the back of a lorry JMO)
