have you checked your CMOS and see what your boot sequence is
see if it is set to boot CD first

Between us..An Arab 'friend' (using the term lightly)....asked me tonight to have a look as his laptop, OS is XP home, with a password (a few weeks ago I 'lost' all my bootable CD's)..and I can't be bothered tonight to download a password cracker..
So I slapped in my CD (I've an old XP cd from billy boy gates) and it (the laptop) keeps giving me the one finger salute and laughing back at me
...He said (get this) he bought the thing in Sarkoville today 2nd hand..but it's in english (I reckon it fell of the back of a lorry JMO)

my understanding of such circumstances is minimum if it is password protected then you'll need your cracker poly because no matter what you do not let you reboot without swapping hard drives Phoenix: When you get the marbles out of your mouth maybe
