iPod, computer, MP3 player, in your cd player . . . .what ever? I have been fixing up my iPod and my mom's new iPod. Just snooping for ideas or suggestions.
I know what she likes, but there may be something I forgot.
lol, not too sure about Marilyn Manson, though I am certain that the name would totally mak her mad. She associates him w/ Charles Manson and she's old enough to remember that trial.

I'll ask her about Pantera though. Thanks.

She has a pretty eclectic taste. She really digs alternitive music and classical. She had grand dreams of me being in an orchestra. . . that never happened though.

well I'm a mom and mp3 has 2 Sugarland cds, Rascal Flatts, 2 Trisha Yearwood cds, Van Halen, ACDC, Colbie Callait, Te Ramones, Weezer's green & blue, the Oblivians, and Mariah Carey's The Emancipation of Mimi
that's all I remember offhand - it's just a god mix for many moods - tried to emphasize good road music as I have a daily commute
I'll probably drop Rage from Rage Against The Machine on there next time I sign it in

Englishman55: Being born in 1960 does not mean that someone has no taste in music.
What it means is that they have a better understanding than you do.
They have seen far more many years of good music and they can still appreciate whet you are listening too also.
Being old...... has it's benefits
Yeah yeah, as a matter of fact, the first concert she took me to was Three Dog Night in Lewiston, ID. I was 12 yrs old. And I guess one of the members was no longer with the group. I was still the best show I have seen.
Those groups from back in the day know how to put on a show. Some of the more current artist could take a few lessons from them.

Don't know if she'd dig Rage. . . Haven't asker her, or provided her w/ a sample of their music.
Rascal Flatts is a good one though. I think she likes them. And maybe Weezer, can't remember though.
I played Flute. I was okay, but not something I truely loved doing. I actually developed some back and shoulder problems from playing and studying so much.
I turned out to be more of a book worm. Something she is very cool with and proud of.
