Sometimes the people we love the most are usually the ones we take for granted.We hurt the ones we love cause we trust that they'll love us back no matter what we do to them or how we mistreat them.

Many people, both men and women, haven't learned how to fight fair. We can't take back the words that come out of our mouths. Several people think you can say anything in the heat of an argument and then say "I'm sorry" and everything will be okay. No one forgets words that are stated in anger.

I'd like to think, that a person would know their partner well enough to know what would hurt them, and avoid it......
If it did happen though then your partner would know you well enough to know it wasn't meant, as well, and not take offense.....

Sometimes we can lash out at the ones we love because we see some of the imperfections in them that we feel for ourselves. Its hard to describe..... sort of like looking in a mirror. But what you have to realize its about them not you.

Well, I know my exs have said horribly hurtful things to me but I also realized there were more underlying issues. I certainly forgave them for what they said but I ended the relationship.I wasn't angry but realized they needed the time to sort things out.

I have this theory that it is trust - misplaced and misused maybe - but it is trust
we can get away with it
we trust that they'll still love us even if we act up
the challenge is to evolve to where we do not take loved ones for granted in that manner

It is because they have hurt us or the closest one to us at the time is who we take it out on without thought or reason and later we see what we have done and try to make amends but the damage is done
