I have hit a wall with me current job. I had switched to a different area about two years ago, then a year ago they pulled me back into my old (and now current) department. I am good at my job, but I am frustrated and crazy over how ill managed it is. I had left it previously for the same reason and now I am in the thick of shifty managment and game playing beyond anything I have experienced before. I am getting the vibe that if I switch out again I will set myself up for losing my job altogether, but if I stay then I may be fired. All simply because I am a straight forward person who will tell you like I see it because we have an open door policy and in the past the managment has always honored and respected such a policy. Now however, if our manager feels you don't like her or you have a little too much respect then she fires your butt.

We are also dealing with stomach flus running amuck through our store and I know my stress is making my health worse. The question: Should I just jump on the unemployment band wagon or stick it out? Should I make the switch to the other position and risk losing my job some time in june? Or stay put and shut my mouth?

The sticky part is that if I change my ways too much, everyone will notice. That would be bad. Is there any advice to be offered? help

I'd make sure I did my job, did not make waves, and be looking for other employment. Switch to the other position while looking for other employment, but don't fall into that unemployed bandwagon. That is going to be the downfall, and of great loss for many. American citizens are being set up to fail by this administration, and you would be wise to supply yourself with has much survival abilities as you can aquire.

Thank You. I know that there are so many people ahving a hard time finding employment right now. It's so wierd to hear at my job that we are doing so much better financially and that we have made it out of the storm, then they start cutting people. Good people that do their jobs damn well, which is where my paranoia is coming from.

Thank you for your advice. It makes the most sense.
