Right now can’t recollect anything that has surprised me so much (though surely there were days and situations like this, just can’t remember right now)
But last Thursday was very tiresome...
First one of my colleagues plagued me with her daily drama for an hour straight (she’s one who’s got dramas on daily basis and just has to share it with her next)
Then one researcher wanted me to repeat all we’ve were discussing by mail during the last couple of weeks (do people think that things would get more pleasant and convenient in verbal than in written?)
And then I had to attend a lesson about new intra-net we’ve got in ol’ good mail programme stead...
As a result of all this I could go home only at 19.50... Given that I’ve come at 08.10... almost 12 hours at work... Speechless was I. Of tiredness.
Today was a strange day ....... seeing what I believe is the Volcanic Ash ......?... No sunshine .... total silence of aeroplanes in the sky .......quite an "oppressive" atmosphere generally .......
So me and You-Know-Who rode our bikes to the next village for coffee ... and read the newspapers ........ all the talk about this ash cloud ......

Great when those things are not passing over your House when you're trying to get another Hour or Two of Shuteye in the AM!
It's my birthday today and I was absolutely amazed to get a very thoughtful gift from my son as well as taking me out to lunch. Hey ho, big 60 this time next year!

Ja, it is there.... floating about 30,000 ft up in the air ..... moving with the wind..... so they say.....
Still no jets taking off or landing at Zurich today! All the Zurich hotels are full and overflowing, and no hire-cars left to rent! All the bussiness-folk are driving to the european countries now......
But, today the sun IS shining and warm!.. better than the week-end was!
