I don't worry about that as much as your possible future employers seeing it. A lot of the employers are starting to check the Facebook, Myspace networks to see about their potential employees. If they don't like what they see online, it could very well cut you out of a job.
I have had someone quote my words back to me also. It never worked out between us. I figured out I am who I am and if someone doesn't like me for what I say here, then they are probably not the right person for me.
The people who have met in real life know I am the person you read. I have quite a few friends that I have met from CS and they understand me. If a lady doesn't like what she see's, then so be it. I am better off without her.

I had a potential employer tell our class this one day. He said it is the first thing that they check while doing a background check. If they see people cutting up, showing wild pictures, things of that nature online, then that is a big turnoff for them to hire the person.

How can anyone access/view your account on either site, unless you allow them to?
I don't think employers have any right to do that, nor should they be "checking up" on what people do in their time away from work.
