Why do guys say one thing and do another? I always tell a prospective date to be honest on wither they feel attraction on the first date or not. However, the guy will go out his way to show interest in me on the first date. After the first date, he calls a couple of times. Then, ignore my return call or text message. Why couldn't he just say there's no further interest? If a he describes himself as an honest person but fail to show courtesy in being honest about not being interested, doesn't this show lack of honesty on their part?

First , dont tell them on the first date anything what got to do with feelings...That kind of talk should happen much much later. if its a date because of the Internet, you soon will realise that 1000 written words can mean nothing when the moment arrives when you look in someones Eyes.
After your date...... let him call you.......but even so he might have told you want you wanted to hear.....keep still the distance. That way you dont get so dissapointed when it doesnt work out....and to be fair to all Men or Women. sometimes , after a date, when you thought about it for a few days... you realise it wouldnt have worked out. you know what I m trying to say?

Some women often do exactly the same. Perhaps the man simply lost interest in you and does not feel compelled to tell you why. Does not make a person dishonest.

i'd also add,i find it excruciatingly embarrassing,to be asked to asses my date, before, during,or even after the date.be cool and watch his actions, they will speak louder than words.
