Learned lessons old and new
And now this wisdom of my life
Im blessed to share with you
Let kindness spread like sunshine
Embrace those who are sad
Respect their dignity,give them joy
And leave them feeling glad
Forgive those who might hurt you
And though you have your pride
Listen closely to their viewpoint
Try to see the other side
Walk softly when your angry
Try not to take offence
Invoke your sense of humour
Laughter`s power is immense!
Express what you are feeling
Your beliefs you should uphold
Dont shy away from what is right
Be courageous and be bold
Keep hope right in your pocket
It will guide you day by day
Take it out when it is needed
When its near you`ll find a way
Remember friends and family
Of which you are a precious part
love deeply and love truly
Give freely from the heart
The world is far from perfect
There`s conflict and theres strife
But you can still make a difference

I truly believe when one has a belief in a person and especially a young child trying to manuvere the corners in life , it spreads a wealth of strength to that little person to know, that what ever they try to succced in, they knew., they had that prop. (And a wonderful prop to share) but, it must always come from the heart and eyes. And the hugs....

thank you SophiaS...raising children especially in this day an age can be tough at the best of times..I shared lots of advice and words of wisdom with my two..there were many times I thought they had fell on deaf ears...now they are adults and I know not only did they listen they followed it too..they are a credit to me..

Yes, as a very young widow with a son i had also talked to him and explained and many times, yes we feel it falls on deaf ears,but then you see and reap that reward, that it really didn't.
