Even though times have changed with the womans lib movents and all that. I think alot of woman on here might prefer the old fashion way and let the guy make first contact. It may just be subconciously but deep down some would like the old fashion romantic ways. Ehh but what do I know. I only found 1 person even romotely close to me, and I am still shy to even talk to her.

I think the majority of the ladies of CS follow your statement in that they don't make the first contact with men. However, many very nice ones do!
Most have been raised in a society where the man is expected to make the initial approach toward them. So guys lets get off our asses and started emailing, flowering and eCarding them.

I have noticed over the years to that some men like to make the first contact and don't like it if a woman does it first

However there are many very shy men and women in this world. The sit back and wait! That is a shame. The two of them might be perfect for each other. I do believe that most men today are not turned off if a lady approaches them first. Most of us are thrilled and honored.
