kidatheart: 1907, it says so on the bottom.

I was born in Canada, so how would that make me an immigrant?

The notion that only natives, or aboriginal people are Canadians is a bit silly really. Even they emigrated from somewhere at one point. Also the idea that this was "their" country is a misnomer, seeing as they didn't generally believe in land ownership.

If you want to bring up any points on the way the natives were treated, please feel free to do so. It's a part of Canadian history as well.

i love kidatheart.....

Yup, that is true. Although being naked certainly seems to have a great appeal. blushing

I wonder if people are naturally more friendly when they're naked, or if it's just Canadians. confused

Canadian gals are more than welcome too, naked or not.grin

Canada's birthday isn't until tomorrow, Nanners started early.

Is she drinking?drinking

laugh

I'm guessing the weather is nice in southern Ontario, we don't get all that many days to be drunk and naked outdoors here in Canada. She, and the rest of us, may as well take advantage of it when we can.

Hi Kid...I think it is safer over here in Canada than being in the international forums.. They have gone crazy over there.
My idea of me as a Canadian...my history...goes back before confederation...my ancestors founded Canada. I like having a Queen/King. Traditions...Thanksgiving, Christmas ...Hockey, basketball, our flag, our Railroad. Related to the 1st Prime Minister. Different languages...I like French and Quebec...the prairies...the list goes on.wave

I guess my ancestors were here hundreds of years ago, the Vikings. They disappeared though, it's likely one of them fell in love with a native girl, there was some jealousy, and a drunken brawl ensued, hence, they disappeared.laugh

It's a plausab;e theory.nerd Knowing what the modern day Scandahoovians are like. laugh
