I just keep getting younger (73)
nesara311stroudsburg, Pennsylvania USA75 Threads 8 Polls 391 PostsWhich in fact,makes me strange.Strange as in I am 51.When I see my same aged friends.They do not look like me.Even my younger friends.My kids will not race me on a bike.No one even rides where I ride.Into the clouds ect.They do put there bikes on racks and drive up the mountain then ride.Me,I ride down the huge mountain I live on,then climb up the huge mountain the nobody can ride up,Then I ride down and back up to my nice home.Whats become of the world?

The truth, Nesara, is that you are not getting younger. I am not getting younger. My sons are not getting younger and my dear friend's beautiful new grandchild is not getting younger.
You know this, but you are either obsessed with appearing young or you are in denial about your own aging and mortality.
Neither of these is a bad thing, per se...to want to appear young is normal and the fact that you maintain an active lifestyle is good, healthy, and will serve you well. To be in denial about one's mortality is pretty normal, too...how many of us have bad habits that could shorten our lives, but don't really think it will affect us? This is denial.
But what I sense from your post is a braggadocious attitude; "Look at me! Look at me!! Look at how young and vibrant and cool I am!"
This is the part that most of us find very off-putting.

Well,Some interesting thoughts.In a time when obesity is at epidemic rates.I have become a minority in another way.I stay active and people take it personal.Perhaps because the current lifestyles of many has to be normal?
Well,I look at life this way.Ya got one here as far as we know.Why not live?
As far as my spelling goes to the spelling police women.LOL.I went through quite a few telephone poles in a big rig which gave me some spelling issues.I am proud of the fact that I came back from the brink of death and still can spell ok.Now being that I did comeback from the jaws of death.You can figure out why I have such a great passion for life.I am 51.I am who I am.A rider.

Look folks.Just because you live in the box you were placed in.Does not make it normal in theory at least.And the fact I live outside the box,does not make it normal also.But at least I am setting a example that being active and even further,That the sport of cycling,is a great sport for your health!
