Tastes differ and 2 years younger is a way too young and 10 years older is too old for me and that is why I need a person between 29 and 40

I, myself have an age range of 5 years up or down. I love girls my own age for reasons to many to go into here but only once dated a girl 12 years my junior for a month or so. I was totally insecure about it and needed constant reassurance that I wasn't to old. I'm sure I drove her nuts but I couldn't handle it. On the other hand my ex wife (together 20 years) was 14 years older than I am. NONE of our problems ever had to do with age. If you have a level of security that allows you to be comfortable with a wide age range, than by all means go for it. I think you will find most people stick to ranges within 10 years of their current age.

Agreed on all counts. If they are younger than 38 then I'll feel like I am dating my baby brother. If they are older like pushing 50 or 60 then I'll feel like I'm dating my dad. I am 38 and I prefer to date men who are closer to me in age.

I would flex 20 years either way for the right person. Depends on the person. I know 60 year olds from martial arts that run circles around most 20 year olds. I was playing football with 15 to 30 year olds yesterday. Oldest geezer on the field but I think I may have had the most fun. It's all how you feel. What you are looking for. I prefer my age or bit older 3-7 more (long relationship) but age is just a number and what matters is who the person is.

My ex husband was the same age as me, my ex partner of 10 years was 8 years younger. I have dated guys younger and older and i now lean towards my own age group or a little older. I guess its personal choice and what you feel comfortable with.

Well honestly I could never date anyone younger than myself, I've tried it and it's just not worth it. But older.. 5-15 years. As long as the person in question is younger than my folks it's all good.
