Between the lovers and the haters that love to hate the guys seems to be breaking records. Was a time when the religion threads were taking a pounding as Obama thread after Obama thread battled it out. Back in the early days it seemd like folks rarely slept, bathed or ate and if they did it seemed as if they slept it was on a bunk right next to the computer so they could get their licks in. Pizza boxes probabled piled high(to busy arguing - oops I mean discussing)to bother to cook and there probably was a portable potty nearby to take a leak. Yep Obama is still pretty popular and as he faces crisis after crisis the more his cs stock goes up. In the early days a lot was expected, especially by the finatics who had high hopes but now it seems the haters have also caught the bug and have high expectations of performing miraculous works such as waving his magic wand and stopping oil spills. Tis the price of being so popular. So whether its the failing economy, health care and now oil spills (and I think the Hurricane season will soon be starting HOPEFULLY no major ones will hit cause surely then the Obama threads will once again reing supreme) you've got to admit Obama is the man. The cs most popularly talked about man. Wonder how he sleeps with all that ringing in his ears.

True, but you must admit being a politician is a difficult job. It's a balancing act. Of course he has his own agenda, but he still has to do what's best for the nation (as he and his advisors see it) while trying to maintain popularity in order for his agenda to be realised.
