The other day, I wished a former classmate happy birthday on another site. He emailed me & confessed that he'd had a huge crush on me in high school. He said I look like I'm doing very well now & look fantastic. He said, "I'm telling you this 27 years later." I replied that I'd also thought he was cute in high school. He now lives quite a distance away. And he didn't play into it either. He's still quite handsome! Why didn't he just let me know in high school?? doh frustrated sigh

Part of me wanted to email him again & tell him how his email has gotten me thinking... but is it really worth it? It's just been on my mind constantly since he dropped this on me!

Oh that sounds so familiar. We're always the last to know someone fancies us and by the time we find out, it's too late to do anything about it! My life is littered with situations that I was too naive, blind, ignorant or just too downright stupid to take advantage of!very mad

Hi, something very alike happened to me recently, but we had only 15 years without seeing eachother, we had a 15 years of graduation get together and well since he saw me he was after me until he confessed me he has always been in love with me, it was wonderful cause well we were in the same place, we actually dated a few times and he even invited to Hong Kong so... I think if you cant stop thinking about it you should try to tell him someway, who knows maybe you can get together too and have a wonderful time, greetings

Because he was shy and you were beautiful. I had a similar thing with a boy i started school with at 5 years old. We went all through school together, i married, he married and i see him in our local supermarket. He told me that i was the only woman he had ever loved since he was 9 years old, said that most of the 5th form boys were a little in love with me. How lovely to know that the young boy i partnered up with in infant school could still hold those feelings for me 55 years later.heart wings teddybear

I've thought about it. Thought about just telling him how his email really has me surprised & thinking. Not sure what to say to him, but I'd like to keep the lines of communication open, ya know?

He said he doesn't bother with that site too much, but was really glad he did that day. blushing I do have to say... he REALLY made my day!! yay

Perhaps he lacked confidence in high school.
Ask for his phone number and call him.
See where the discussion leads. peace

If you're interested, don't be so coy; you're not in high school any more. professor

Write him back and invite him to expand on his thoughts wink

Stop hiding behind your keyboard and get on the phone laugh

You don't have to fess up straight away, do you? You could contact him just for a chat and keep the lines of communication open that way. When the time's right and all that...

One step at a time, sister. Tee hee hee.

I guess I'm also baffled as to why he thought he should tell me. If it was in the past & that was where he'd like it to remain, I would think he wouldn't have said anything. WHOA BOY... here I go analyzing again!!! sigh frustrated doh
