Yes, I have right here on CS. There shouldn't be any restrictions on it just because it starts out in cyberspace. I don't go to bars anymore and am a bit of a loner so this medium is perfect for getting to know someone through the forums. The danger is in finding and falling for someone who lives half way round the world but there are plenty of local (within an hour) people to get to know. Good luck.
yes...we met online, we met in real life, I moved, we are we and it is real and true love, strong and committed...not perfect, because we are human, but with the best intentions and the want to be as good as we can be...

I know 3 people that have. One couple met on line, 9 yrs ago, and are expecting their first child. They took their time after meeting on line, and getting to know each other before letting things get serious. My friend claimed he loved her, but both of them were not going to rush into anything fast. Both had been in a serious relationship before and were burned. (Neither had kids).
Second couple I know, are not married. Don't plan on getting hitched. He has a daughter and she has 2 kids. Both have been together for about 5 yrs now. They met on line, and live together.
They are a great couple, and parents. Life has given them a few hard breaks, but they have continued to support each other through it all.
Other couple met on line, but not on a date site. One of them has C.P. That a lone can put stress on a relationship. Add in moving to the states where medical costs are out of most people's limits. They have 2 children now and a very strong marriage.
Can it happen??? Yes. It just might not happen like some people expect or as often. Be realistic and don't expect fairy tales.
We can not decide when it will happen. It will happen if and when it is supposed to, and when we allow it.

I met a couple of fun people. I was casually talking about the Coliseum in Rome and the chambers they had underneath the floor and I just mentioned the fact that that was where they kept the Christians before they fed them to the lions....the girl I was going with that day, bent over, put her hands over her ears and started screaming at the top of her lungs. Hey, she brought it up...she was there and I was just talking about what I knew. They say be yourself and talk about what you know...so I was. Everybody in the parking lot thought I was killing her...that was my best one,so yeah, I met somebody.
Then there was the "that is just so wrong" one...as judgmental as they come. The world according to her...
Then the one who believed there was a planet x behind the moon. Time apparently stopped for 15 minutes one day back in April, I think it was....2004. Something to do with magnetic interference or something or aliens attacking.
Then I met a ball bouncer. Always had an orange rubber ball...and always was bouncing it.
I not only met them, I went out with them on dates! This is a testament to just how brave I am...I haven't given up!
I loved them all...and that is the truth...well sort of...

Many people misrepresent themselves on dating sites. I guess you are new to dating sites.

I have... but I don't necessarily attribute it to the dating site.
I'm of the firm belief, that you can NOT find love online. You can only find PEOPLE online, that match up with some of the requirements you have for a partner. Love happens when you meet, if it's going to happen at all.
I don't even expect love anymore when I meet people. I simply enjoy talking to people, meet people who I find interesting, and see what heppens from there. Someone with a long laundry list of who they want for a husband, is a major turn-off for me.
I'm of the firm belief, that you can NOT find love online. You can only find PEOPLE online, that match up with some of the requirements you have for a partner. Love happens when you meet, if it's going to happen at all.
I don't even expect love anymore when I meet people. I simply enjoy talking to people, meet people who I find interesting, and see what heppens from there. Someone with a long laundry list of who they want for a husband, is a major turn-off for me.
