Exactly, that was the point of the thread, NOTHING is and can be done.
We're being told to take it or leave it.
Hence the title: Shame on the Belgian "Justice" System! Honte a la Justice Belge!

Well… there is one or another example when justice system of a country has failed. And we know that it’s failed only because it admitted the fact, perhaps apologized and even tried to correct the mistake. (I’m bent to regard those cases as mistakes, not as ill will on purpose.) For the offer of that kind of mistake the consequences can be awful, they can destroy his life and lives of his family. But… would you prefer “justice” of Lynch style, or of Stalin style? Would you prefer private persons take justice into their hands? Would you prefer to be left face to face with an armed bandit and his idea of justice? I wouldn’t.

I don’t know anything about Belgian justice system, but if I remember right, Belgium is an EU member, and if all other ways are close, a person can turn to EU court. No?

I doubt it, but it might be a possibility.

the problem is that by not satisfying people's sense of justice within the judicial system, they are creating a hotbed for lynch style retribution. Still there must be a reason why they are treated so lightly .. maybe it's just that the prisons are so full to overflowing ..

That's a big problem for sure.
