online today!Regrets no, wish I had done somethings differently yes. Would I wish to change them. No. Every place I have passed in life. Gave me the life I have. My life has been blessed with love and family. And everything always ended up just how it was meant to be.

@ Englishelegance .... I have no major regrets ... all I have done and experienced up to this day has made me who I am. In my view life is too short for regrets , we do what we can when we and have no control of the past.

I did everything I ever wanted to do, and didn't care who disapproved. I lived every day to my utmost capacity. I have no regrets.
PS. You can't regret something that was not within your power to do.
You can only regret those things you chose not to do.

What you are describing sounds more like guilt, (at not having the opportunity to be there), not regret, (at having chosen not to be there).

I'd go back to the 29 year old me and say "listen to your gut instinct and don't bother".
I'd also go to the 15 year old me and tell him to study music production at university instead of being an Aerospace Engineer.

I often think about how things would be if I could change a lot of my regrets. But perhaps things would have turned out worse than they did. Who knows

Not being able to give thanks and say good bye to the people we love that is painful but we always hope they did know it.
One regret.
I do regret not having taken my decision of getting apart from my children's father sooooooner.
Otherwise I would have done just the same as I have but at an earlier age.

Sorry to hear yours...there is a therapuetic tool i have learned of writing a letter of what you wanted to say to a loved one. Something about writing it down gives some kind of release to your soul.My father passed in 2009, and I was not able to do what you wished your with your mother. I visited his grave last Christmas, and i said those things I wanted to say. It was a real release. I am also compling a book of memories as well.
Mine are too many to list. But, have learned to love a verse in the Bible..."His mercies are new every morning."
Every day is a new day. I now leave the former day behind, and every morning feel i am starting again.
