I reckon some of you do some don't...

If you are cooking can you actually do it....

My Sunday lunch tommorrow for 6 is..

Carrrott & CORIANDER Soup

Slow Braised Beef, Wild Garlic,Mushrooms and Honey Roast Root Vegetables


Strawberry Cheescake....

Nope......Catering done I'll even supply the Wild Garlic......Got tons of the bloody stuff...And some very nice huge Horseshoe Mushrooms...

Nah just a half decent Claret and the meal goes well.....Needs a robust wine to compliment the Beef.....And the Beef takes 10 hours.......grin cheers

just coincidence prob.but your menu has just the only things i really like about British food...
Of course my local Butchers gives me Bones which I roast then slow cook for Stockwink grin cheers

No Lemon Just mix the onions 60/40 red and white the sweetness of the red oNION and the colour adds to the Soup JMOwink grin

I can cook enough to get by and survive. Stuff like pasta dishes w/meatballs, meatloaf, homemade mashed potatoes, breakfast dishes, etc. Not going to be on Top Chef anytime soonlaugh but do ok!thumbs up

Well, mine is a simple menu,

Starter: Celery and Stilton Soup

1 head of celery
1 onion
100g walnuts
50g butter
50g plain flour
just over a litre of chicken stock
salt and pepp to season
100g blue stilton cheese
2 tablespoons port (is nice but up to you)

for directions how to cook and for the main course...join me tomorrow on Ralphy's cookery corner as I am falling asleep just now and...sleep

Much the same here but I finely chop a head of Broccoli and add for the last 5 minutes, Adds a wee bit of colour and texture....
