This is a very big victory for the American public, this Republics ability to protect themselves from intrusion, from harm, ACCORDING TO OUR GUARANTEED RIGHTS.
"In its second major ruling on gun rights in three years, the Supreme Court Monday extended the federally protected right to keep and bear arms to all 50 states. The decision will be hailed by gun rights advocates and comes over the opposition of gun control groups, the city of Chicago and four justices..."
"The ruling builds upon the Court's 2008 decision in D.C. v. Heller that invalidated the handgun ban in the nation's capital. More importantly, that decision held that the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms was a right the Founders specifically delegated to individuals. The justices affirmed that decision and extended its reach to the 50 states. Today's ruling also invalidates Chicago's handgun ban."

Abram: I believe within your own home there is not any permit needed. Anyone in America without a criminal background, conviction, can by hand guns, or rifles, after passing a background check. This ruling is more or less saying that, cities, states, communities, cannot pass laws violating this guaranteed freedom. I think you might find out that it helps to limit, control those of the lunatic fringe. They are not going to know who might be armed, and dangerous to them, their intent.
Okay..I see what you mean now. I knew the rules about owning one and the need to get checked out...I had to go through that process myself.
It's what made America great. The frontier mentality that you can shoot anyone that stands in your way. And it's a great deterrant. The jails in the US are practically empty! Civilisation in the 21st century!

I bet if you check ....the law probably requires you register your handguns with local law enforcement ....but nobody does it...
All this law did was say that cities or states cannot outlaw handguns.
2 of the scariest places to ever go in our country is Chicago and Washington DC.
Ask any cop and they will tell you that you can go around the capital buildings and have some safety, but if you get out past that, look out.
Outlaws carry guns because they are OUTLAWS! They don't care about what the law is. The only way for law abiding citizens to be protected is to protect themselves.

Don't need to check, I know how the background check process works, and the government agencies receiving the information. It is only the criminals who buy guns, and are not checked, so today I feel much better knowing they will think twice before entering someones home. I don't want anyone to be forced to protect themselves by shooting, killing, or wounding, someone else. Until a person has been in that situation nobody knows its affect on them, and I wish that feeling on nobody. That is nobody except for a criminal, who already does not give a damn about the lives of anyone else. Killing, or injury to another person does not rate has a deterent in the criminals mind. They could care less about human life unless that same life adds to the wealth, and prosperity of the criminal. Then they will do all they can to protect each other, their source of income. "Even a thief will do good unto thieves."

Be sure to mark the bow string to insure, when cocked, it is secured in the same position each time. Very important to insure the bolt follows the same flight path each time.

You will find that most people have some form of gun in there home, but they don't go around shooting people. The honest man has every right to have a gun,Why should the the criminals be the only ones to have them.Where im living now there are a lot of farms, lots of deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, etc. They have a certain time of year for the hunters to kill these for food, plus to keep population down of these animals. There are so many deer, that people total there cars when the deer jump in front of them with out warning.I myself lost a car two years ago when a deer jumped in front of me,i missed the first one couldn't miss the second,So guns have there usefulness, there not just used to rob,and kill people. My opion only

I love it! Do ya know anyone who wants to buy my Barnet Demon crossbow? 15 seconds to load and fire is pretty fast, and that would be a great help for my crippled butt.
