if he comes with the few other new additions it could be an exciting year?
MF I think it will be hard for Lebron in chicago because he will always be in Jordan shadow until he wins mor championships that Jordan did and that is alot of presure. Also the bulls front office does not like paying the luxary tax so when players on the team are free agents the will not sign them back.
it's unlikely lebron will end up with the knicks. miami has the best shot and the nets are trying to get him too. i would like to see my Celtics get him but probably no chance for that. they were 4 minutes from banner number 18 this year but old age caught up with them. they need to get younger and more athletic. maybe a sign and trade with Rondo and Sheed for Lebron. Pierce is opting out of his contract. On a good note Doc is coming back as coach next year.
don't know if you have been following the blackhawks MF but they are having a fire sale trading 2 of their key players to stay under the cap. just goes to show at the end of the day it's a business.
AsleepInNJ: the really great ones make the players around them better. jordan did it, Bird, Magic, etc. the jury is still out on whether Lebron can do that.
true true
but yes of course i read 2 papers a day and they have huge sports sections
it is a business but thats not gonna steal my enjoyment if i can help it
if the bulls get him i might consider season tickets
AsleepInNJ: i did. he's meeting them tomorrow. i guess the bulls are a possibility too but i think miami and the nets have the advantage. but you never know.
MovinFWD: I am a Cavs fan having lived in northeast Ohio up until 5 years ago. I watched LeBron play in high school and would like to see him stick around.
He is fun to watch. But quite honestly I think it would be in his best interest to go else where so he has a chance at a championship.
Quite frankly I think Cleveland pro sports teams are cursed and he would never win a title here.
mindfful: des i guess thats true-i just reread your post
maybe as fans we dont see jordans shadow anymore but yeah a player might feel that way...
if being measured that way i wouldnt be interested either but chicago needs the glory and the money a winning team brings
id love the chance to see him play personally
he is nothing like mike
he is -well, - i dunno- humble power what the japanese call soft power
he just does his thing you know?
MF if Lebron goes any place but Chicago and wins one or more championships he be a god but fin chicgo he will have to win mor than Jordan to be king and that alot of presure.
