rytcharlie: no .. but ghekko gitface sleeps/hides in the daytime and comes out at night, I think .. judging from lack of mozzies and other creepies that usually eat me alive this time of year, she's around somewhere .. probably curled up in my underpants drawer ... ... if she's female, she wants to get in my underpants .. only natural

hope you got room for another tail in your underpants....laugh

we interupt this program to bring a live ghekko update

I've just seen a baby applause

it's about 4cm long and hiding among my bottles in the kitchen .. really cute!!

I think I scared it tho .. it's as still as a statue at the moment .. but I saw it move ..

I haven't seen the mother for about 10 days now .. but she's obviously round somewhere ..

it's really cute .. about 6cm with tail.. wandering around my kitchen .. I put a bottle on its side with a little water in it, so hopefully it'll find its way to a drink .. it keeps trying to climb the formica cupboard but keeps slipping down .. actually seems to be getting a bit frustrated with itself haha .. looks healthy enough - hopefully I'll find it some live food .. but there's no pet shop in my village ..

I wouldn`t recommend you get it dependent on your hand-outs. Are you SURE it`s a Ghekko? Not a baby crocodile....?

I got this mental image .... 6 months down the line .... you got a 6m lizard waiting to be fed ...... ahhahahaaaaggghhh...and you better have food for it!

the main problem is .. now I got two (or more) ghekkos living with me .. I don't have any bugs or mozzies anywhere to be seen .. which is good for me .. but I'm worried about the ghekkos getting hungry .. or crocodiles - when it gets to 1m it's outta here .. or I am .. whichever's easiest .. help

Just be careful, Charlie, if you open your windows, and then close them ....... Lizards like to hang out near windows!

One day, my favourite lizard met his death when I closed the window ... and only found him a week later, when I opened that window .... Yaaagghhhh put me off my food for a month! .... His open jaw gasping for breath from having his throat crushed ......Perectly poised to catch an insect .....
