LOL

My oldest started school today! I was a bit sad but that quickly changed believe me LOL Lord knows I love him but man it was about time. He was driving me nuts!

We had to walk because I didn't get the bus schedule yet and holy traffic! It was crazy! But did meet his teacher and she seems really nice and his teacher aid was cute too hehehehehe

So anyone else relieved that school has finaly started? LOL

Have a great day all!

cheers

My oldest is in 3rd grade this year as well. I am a bit nervous as I am every year on their first day but was also glad to see him go back and see his old friends again and make new ones. I always look forward to the new things they will also learn.

It will get easier don't worry LOL

Here you have to be 5 to go to kindergarden. At age 4 they go once a week for a few hours a few months in the spring time to just get them used to a school environnement.

Lol .... you must have had a tough time when they had the hockey strike going on!!! Do you book your holidays around the Stanley Cup ??

My last boyfriend was a football/sports (betting) fanatic ... he actually booked his holidays to make sure that he always was off for the Superbowl. It was sports 24/7 on the computer/on the radio, in the car and even in the shower he had a radio and almost every conversation.

I was a sports lover before I met him .... but somehow the novelty of watching a game/sport was dampened after that experience. Amazing how overkill can drain the enthusiam, although I do admit that its finally coming back.

As for the kids back in school .... I totally understand that feeling .... although it was stressful in the mornings at first .... trying to get them back on schedule and drag them outta bed in the mornings.

The strike wasn't as bad for me as a lot of people. Being in London, ON I had the Knights to carry me through that black black year. The Knights had a CHL record breaking year, won the Memorial Cup, and we got to watch a lot of high ranked NHL prospects and draftees play.

As for holidays, I book them around the kids. The playoffs are night games so all that's needed is to gather all the TV's up into one room until Lord Stanley finds a new home canada

All the tv's in one room?? lol surround sound and almost being live at the game for sure... just watch out for the popcorn fights after too much beer consumption!!

Well it sounds like the Knights actually provided an exciting season for you to experience .... sometimes its interesting to watch the players develop their skills and usually those young guys have alot more energy as well.

It's really not surround sound lol. 1 television per simultaeneous Canadian game. As the Canadian teams get knocked out the number of televisions go down lol

I'm usually too busy telling the officials how blind they are to eat or drink much so no big beer or popcorn fiascos :)
