Wow a week that's good ... for my daughter it was the first day and then that was the end.
Mine too...they're already saying that they are looking forward to the first day....goes downhill from there
It takes a week for the new school clothes to run out 
LOL - that is so true ... although I'm not sure how you manage to stop them from wearing them before school actually starts!!

This year was a milestone for my oldest as he started highschool. My youngest was home for one last day by herself and lazed around enjoying it and hung out with her friends realty will hit tomorrow when she gets on the bus for her last year of grade school. Am I glad yes and no it's not easy watching your babies grow and move on in thier lives but on the other hand it will be peaceful around here till they get home lol!!

My daughters started school last Tuesday, the oldest in Grade 10 and the youngest in Grade 5. I am glad for them to be back at school, and I welcome the routine; however, being self employed it was really nice to book the afternoon off and take off to the beach. I miss that already. The girls are glad to be back into their routine as well...but as some have stated above, I am wondering how long it will last.

Wasn't too bad for mine. I think the change in schedule affected me more than anything else LOL

Its always sort of sad on the first day but it does change quickly once you notice how nice and quiet it is and how things stay clean for more than 30 minutes LOL

My kids are excited about going back to school, that should last about a week if the past 3 years are any idication lol
