"I wonder what memories of yours will persist as you go on in life. My hunch is that the most important will have to do with feelings of loving and being loved - whoever's been close to you. As you continue to grow, you'll find many ways of expressing your love and you'll discover more and more ways in which others express their love for you." (Fred Rogers)

So how many of you remember their first love? Who are the people you cherish and like to think of when you feel the need to take a walk down the memories' path?

professor I remember the first time I had my heart broken. It was first grade, six years old. What an unforgettable experience.

Inside the box of Cracker Jacks one day, my prise was a girls bracelet, so I gave it to a girl in school whom I had a big crush on. She said "Ewww" and threw it in the garbage.

crying

I have been terrified by women ever sense. moping

wave

Nice thread wine

Mine are often of the ones who've gone, not in a sad way, but the ones who were there when I was growing up like my Mum, two brothers and a sister who have now gone but left their love with me.

And a very special friend who passed away three years ago last month .. some sadness there as he was gone too soon but he gave his love to me too and I think of him often.

Mine would have to be The day my children were born, holding them for the first time.

Being there when my Grandaughter was born, was amazing.

Thank you. How have you been? Long time no see. wave

Yes, we often think of people that have passed away, for as they say, God always takes the best to Him. And before I get bashed for turning the thread into a religious one, I am not. It's just my opinion.

My dad passed away almost 4 yrs ago and it still hurts. But yes, the memory of his love is something that I cherish and that keeps me going during hard times.

Sorry to hear about your friend. hug
