I'm wondering why so many European ladies write their profiles in English, but when you message or flower them, the ones that reply say they're only looking for guys from they're own country? Has English suddenly become the national language of Europe, or are they just being polite about how disinterested they are?? laugh

hope I'm not speaking out of turn mate, but I think maybe you'd do better to have a couple more photos - perhaps something a bit lighter/clearer and without the specs

Yes I'm a Taff love. I'm from Pembrokeshire but used to live in Cathedral road years ago. Been travelling a long time now, and haven't lived properly in UK since early 90's. wave

Well… my impression is that a lot of people here is originally from UK or some other English-speaking country (and, again, my impression, they are not in hurry to learn the local dialect but expect everyone else to speak their language). The rest of EU, that has some other language than English as the first, is underrepresented, don’t you think? Perhaps that’s the reason why they write in English.

Now to your grief. I don’t know why they answer that they are looking for a local man, but I do the same when I don’t like the sender especially much – I answer that I’m looking for a long-term, not long-distance relationship.
