If the woman was brought up in a violent household then she will be comfortable with violence in her bf/marriage, she will actively seek this type of person.

I can't see how a person can intentionally be a idiot and mean to someone then say "I love you" to them. I just don't see the "love" in that.

I don't think so. Unless they are a 'doormat' or obsessive about you, longer-term they'll walk. And who wants to date an obsessive or a doormat?

Really, every single woman that suffers violence in a relationship wants this again? Get real, go and visit womens' refuges and they will tell you different.

The most ridiculous blanket statement here on CS to date.

Short term maybe, for some people long term, but a healthy, stable, self respecting person of average intelligence will wise up,and prefer to spend time with someone loving sooner or later.

I prefer to treat others as I would like to be treated.

And as for women who grow up in an abusive household seeking that out, not true, some of us have learned by it and seek the opposite.
