Hi all you members across the pond.wave

I had an email sent to me the other day which frankly disturbed me.It showed pictures from New York at the site of 911 with a demonstration against a Mosque being erected on the site.

As I have yet to see this in any news form ,and not too sure if this is "old" news, does anyone know if this is correct.

I was in New York in 1998 and went up the Twin Towers so the area has a special place in my heart, when I think of what took place there.

Thanks Conrad, have just read through the other thread and it seems to be an ongoing issue. Hope it gets sorted in the correct manner as it's quite a volatile subject and that's putting it mildly !

I read last week that the Mosque had been "approved" by either NYC or NY State to be constructed. Onsight protests by 911 family members had begun.

Of all the places they could build a mosque, they chose a site where muslim terrorists ''RECENTLY'' murdered thousands of people!! Sick to say the least. The worst part of it is that it's actually been officially APPROVED???!!! thumbs down

I have no humor what so ever when it comes to my country being attacked and American lives being taken and then to have those murdered Americans lives be shat on with building a mosque next to where their lives were so sadly taken.
