Do yoyou think opposites attract because we can't bare to look at our own flaws (10)

One of my ex partners was a Phychiatristat working in a Hosp ,also she new my ex partners personaly in social circles.

I asked her once about why do some people pick partners who are different than themselves ,,then cause chaos in a relationship ,,

I was referring to some of my past partners on a personal level from the past ,,my situation was that i do drink in whats classed as socialy ,,2 partners i had were total piss heads and the drink has left them with a lot of social problems of everyday normal logical thinking {is that the rite terminology?}

So why pick me ,

it was said that some of these people pick opposites because they dont like looking at a mirror image of themselves ..

So maybe thats taught me a little of what to reject in the future ..

Unfortunately my work takes me into what is classed as a sub culture ,so maybe i need to be a little more enlightened instead of acepting some on face value ....bla bla bla
