sore finger...frustrated any ideas anyone please..
what i know is to soak it in hot ,salty water..but doesnt seem to help..frustrated

Try toothpaste i read on here,it takes the pain out does all kind of good things...dunno worth a try,but i don't no for real,but it worked on my bee stingthumbs up

i know..and i know what should be done..but its not ready yet..just that painfull stage..cant go to sleep frustrated almost 1a.m..

For now soak some bread, (not the crust though) in warm milk and put it on the finger. Hold it in place with a bandage. The milk should be as warm as you can stand it but not too hot as to be uncomfortable. Seeking medical help would be in order though.

its inverted cuticle and there is puss colecting on the side,ugly,
i know it should be evacuated at some point,but its not localised yet,still difussed inflamation.i ve got medical knowledge,but that doesnt help..frustrated i ve found out before,some home remedies work quite well..hence the question..

O Its an infection. You need to draw off the poison. A paste made from baking soda and water is very good for that. As it dries, it draws out infection...good for bee stings too. hug

its an old one, i got when i was a kid, like when u have a splinter....soap and sugar, mash up a wee tiny bit of any bathroom soap and a tiny bit of sugar, mix it up inta a paste and put it on the finger, wrap in a plaster, and it will draw out the pus overnightdunnoitsa well known old remedy over here, dunno if that might help u for this hug

I used that with my chickadees many times, it instantly soothes it and also kills bacteria. I hope it feels better soon Cherry Baby hug
