Because they have a gf / bf
Because they have a job which determines they protect themselves
Because they are shy

some people just choose not to...If you are interested enough in them and in what they say in their profile email them and maybe they will send one...I am in email contact with a few that have no pictures..don't see a problem with it...

When I first got on- line I didn't put up a pic until I felt comfortable being on-line. Didn't want to post something REALLY stupid and have the whole world know I'm the one who did it. But I've come to the conclusion if you post enough, sooner or later, you will post something you regret. Usually mis-reading and responding to another post or just wording the post itself wrong.Not posting a pic is not always laced with bad intentions. They are not always unattractive or devious. Those in the public eye, undercover cops, those with high security clearances, ect. may be forced to keep their pic off their profiles. As many of us know, the pic does not always belong to the persons profile. If the pic does belong to the profile, it is not always accurate (weight gain, professional pic or cheap phone camera, age of photo and dependant on how photogenic the person in the pic is). Common sense and caution ALWAYS!!!!

Some have legitamate reasons but over 80% are married
And some /lot ? have bogus pictures up iff not very much out of date ..
These dating sites for some is there final chance to be someone else as there real thems havnt a chance ..

I must admit... I did put a pic up right away... but I did feel uncomfortable ... now I really dont care and anyways... I have met in person a lot of the people from here... so I am glad that when on first sight I was instantly recognised.. I could easily recognise the others from here... so goes to show... not everyone is fooling us with pics.. all the CS people that I met looked exactly like their pics...
