lvslifemoore, USA223 Threads 2,565 PostsWhen I got home from work a little while ago, there was an instant message from someone that I don't know. He (I guess it was a he) was vague and asked how to get into his e mail?? Well, I told him what I could and all the while asking him did I know him, and who he was. No answer and wanted to know if I had cam. I said "no" even though I do. I know I lied. He kept saying that I contacted him. Not! Wasn't even home. I want to know who he is and how he got my address. He obviously does Yahoo. How do I find him? I'm just curious who he is. I hit ignore, so now he is supposedly spammed.

Kat, I just looked up the user ID on Yahoo and it doesn't exist, so either it's an alias nickname or it is someone that just joined yahoo and their information isn't up yet.

I would just block him from contacting you and forget about it. Perhaps he simply entered another person's email or IM info incorrectly and got you .... almost like calling a wrong number.

Well, I just worry sometimes cause I know they can get into things that one doesnt want them to be in. I am not a whiz by any means on pc. I am relatively new, and get worried. I did delete him though. But if he found my messenger id thing can't he find out other stuff from my yahoo? Thank you for your input.
