What do you think about those CS members without a picture for their profiles? (270)

Do they have any chances? Is this a way to hide something? Are they trustable? Or its just a time consuming either for themselves and the viewers? Just wondering :)

I don't know. I think there are various reasons. Some are trolls, some are insecure with themselves. I am sure there are valid reasons too, just can't think of any.

Yeap, its a good point and I share it as well :) But in my oppinion is a big waste of time to assume that only the nice words from a profle can compensate the desire of everyone to see your face :)

Cs gives the option whether to post a photo or not,they have every right to chose not to post a photo.there are a lot of reasons why a person chooses not to,does not make them scammers,untrustable,doesn't mean there hiding,its a personal choice.

My experience giving a member with no photo a chance has been all bad..The first one sent me a photo of himself that had to been 20 years old..When I met him I didnt even recognize him. The 2nd one I met still had a relationship with his baby mamma and was hiding online with no photo..The other ones I didnt meet but when I asked for their photos it was like EWWWWWWW..Then you have to have the uncomfortable situation of bowing out politely because you dont want to hurt the persons feelings..As far as trolls go, I dont know about them other than maybe they are using a profile to spy on a site to see if their girlfriend or boyfriend is on here? LoL

Agreed, someone needs to be comfortable enough in their own skin, never mind putting a pic. This is the internet and I know allot of people come to hide or be themselves in a way they want to be like in the real world. Not putting up a pic is a sign of that, not saying that means they are bad people, but in all likelihood, something is going on there and it's not good.
Again, I will say it is also likely an explanation I have not thought of that would make it reasonable, I just can't think of one.

So your advice, I guess, is to have a picture at first sight, as a minimal requirement for starting whatever somebody wants, in order to avoid at a certain level an unpleasant encounter :)

For sure, I would recommend anyone to be cautious of no photo profiles..

I would definitely prefer a recent pic. When I get mail from guys asking to "chat" or talk...I would like to get to know you" etc...(from thousands of miles away) and they don't have a picture..immediately I block them, if they have a pic..I'll look at the pics..think too bad..and then block.

Nah, trolls just come to forums to piss people off. I am sure there is some that do come to spy. But a troll is is just trying to get their kicks off of pissing people off

But still, I am thinking that those without picture from here, are interacting somehow in their real lives with real people, and for sure I guess they don't wear a Darth Vader mask going to a meeting or to their regular jobs ;)

Ok, lets assume they have a picture and they meet your requirement to provide one as a condition to start over a chat or whatever, but, the picture is "recent" from 20 years ago? ;)
